چکیده

Advances in next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies since 2005 have revolutionized biological science. One particular application of NGS is to elucidate microbiomes built environments. We are currently conducting a series studies on the elucidation and control mass infection mechanisms based dynamic measurement environment microbiomes. The objective this study clarify dispersion characteristics oral bacteria environment. Bacterial communities from occupants’ hands cavities, doorknobs, desk keyboard surfaces, air laboratories were investigated seven Japanese universities. median relative abundances Firmicutes, Proteobacteria, Actinobacteria, Bacteroidetes, Fusobacteria 41%, 31%, 12%, 7%, 3%, respectively. Moreover, main genera detected Streptococcus (27.6%), Haemophilus (7.0%), Staphylococcus (5.6%), Neisseria Corynebacterium (4.7%), Rothia (3.2%), Prevotella (3.0%), Fusobacterium (2.6%), Veillonella (1.7%), Leptotrichia Enhydrobacter Lactobacillus (1.3%), Acinetobacter Actinomyces (1.1%). Actinomyces, Corynebacterium, Fusobacterium, Haemophilus, Leptotrichia, Neisseria, Prevotella, Rothia, observed indoor surfaces as well cavities. Furthermore, melaninogenica mucilaginosa all samples, including those PC laboratories,

The Built Environment Is a Microbial Wasteland

Humanity's transition from the outdoor environment to the built environment (BE) has reduced our exposure to microbial diversity. The relative importance of factors that contribute to the composition of human-dominated BE microbial communities remains largely unknown. In their article in this issue, Chase and colleagues (J. Chase, J. Fouquier, M. Zare, D. L. Sonderegger, R. Knight, S. T. Kelley...

Intercellular communications in multispecies oral microbial communities

The oral cavity contains more than 700 microbial species that are engaged in extensive cell-cell interactions. These interactions contribute to the formation of highly structured multispecies communities, allow them to perform physiological functions, and induce synergistic pathogenesis. Co-adhesion between oral microbial species influences their colonization of oral cavity and effectuates, to ...

The swing of the pendulum between centralization and decentralization of the higher education (HE) system has generally been towards the former in the Iranian context in the past decade. This has prompted some academics, particularly those who find their disciplines left out to react by highlighting intrinsic differences in teaching and studying methods across the HE spectrum. Built Environment...

aesthetic experience of built environment

throughout human evolution history, beauty has always been one of the necessary integral components of human need. as greer (2010) said, “one of the prehistoric human’s responses to the animal life around them was to etch and paint these animals on the walls of their caves. turning them into art and rendering them beautiful was a natural response - a way to help make sense of a hostile and conf...
